In 2000, my wife and I engaged Shawn Jones to build us an heirloom quality mahogany front porch swing.  Over the last 9 years, its structural integrity and beauty have held up under our harsh coastal Florida weather conditions.  The design is both comfortable and innovative, particularly its brass grommets that protect the mahogany from the swing’s stainless steel chain.

Over the years, we have spent many hours in our swing enjoying the Florida breezes, swinging new babies, and entertaining neighbors.  Someday, we look forward to swinging grandchildren.
